CALL SHEET

On Tuesday, 15th February 2008, I was standing-in for Giancarlo Giannini filming scenes for the new James Bond film. The scenes were filmed in Pinewood studios and I spent the whole day in company of Daniel Craig, Giancarlo Giannini, Daniel Da Silva (my buddy) and especially and last but not least lovely Gemma Arterton. Gemma was really very sweet, we chatted quite a bit and when I came to say good-bye she gave me a nice peck on cheek. At the time when we were filming nobody knew the film title yet so we referred to it as B22.

There were 2 teams on the day: Team A consisted of Daniel Craig, Giancarlo Giannini and Gemma Arterton. In the team B was Jason Honwood (James Bond), Mirek Hanak (Mathis) and Emma McGettrick (Ms Fields). We did various scenes around a hotel. After one particular scene the team B did very well and the director shouted FANTASTIC!. Giancarlo came to me and gave me a nice hug. I suggested that we could swap our roles and I could be placed in the team A. I don't think  he fully appreciated my cheeky jibe.

On Saturday, 19th February, we did more scenes (flight interior) at Virgin Aerospace Centre near Gatwick

In October I was filming scenes for a new film Prince of Persia. I was playing a bandit. There was this gorgeous actress with us (Tamina), quite detached from anybody else, chatting between shoots only to Jake Dyllenhaal (Prince Dastan) and Alfred Molina (Sheik Amar). When I got home, after the first day of shooting, I checked on the Internet who was this mysterious girl and to my GREAT DELIGHT I realised that it was Gemma Arterton. The next morning I informed my bandit friends that Gemma and I know each other. Obviously they didn't believe me. I didn't do any scenes with Gemma that day and there was no sign of her. I gave up the idea of meeting her when suddenly, out of blue, as I was chatting, drinking coffee and socialising with my bandits, Gemma turned up. I immediately made a bee line to her. She didn't recognised me in my bandit outfit as I didn't recognise her outlook the previous day. Anyway, we started chatting, she said that she was pleased to see me again, and as we were saying byes, she gave me a nice peck on both cheeks. I looked around to make sure that all the bloody bandits made a note of it...
